Manchester Futsal Club is proud to announce the launch of its Grassroots Partner Club initiative - a new program designed to connect, support, and collaborate with grassroots football clubs across Manchester and Greater Manchester.
We’re excited to launch this new initiative, designed to share our expertise in individual player development with grassroots clubs across Greater Manchester. The idea is to support local grassroots clubs in setting up their own technical futsal sessions within their existing grassroots structure - creating environments that focus on developing players’ technical ability, decision-making, and confidence on the ball. Through this partnership, Manchester Futsal Club will provide guidance, resources, and ongoing support to help grassroots coaches deliver high-quality futsal sessions that enhance the development of every individual player.
What Is Manchester Futsal Club Grassroots Partner Club?
The Grassroots Partner Club is a collaborative program where Manchester Futsal Club supports local grassroots clubs in setting up their own technical futsal sessions - safe, structured spaces where players can enjoy futsal and develop their skills in a creative, high-quality environment.
Partner clubs will have the freedom to run their own sessions locally, but with guidance and mentorship from Manchester Futsal Club’s Academy. The aim is to help these clubs:
Develop technical futsal sessions that enhance player performance in both football and futsal.
Understand and apply MFC’s player development philosophy - focusing on creativity, decision-making, and individual expression.
Receive CPD (Coach Development) support, with invitations to observe Manchester Futsal Academy sessions and learn directly from our academy staff.
Access technical ideas, and support documents that can be applied immediately at their own clubs.
Benefit from visits by Manchester Futsal Club first-team players and coaches, helping to inspire young players and raise futsal awareness locally.
A Partnership That Fits Each Club
Every Grassroots Partner Club will have the freedom to shape the partnership to fit their own goals and environment.

Coaches can come in-house, see what we do, learn how we structure sessions, and take those ideas back to their own teams. It’s about helping them bring futsal to life in their community.”
By becoming an MFC Grassroots Partner Club, local organisations can open new opportunities for their players - from futsal participation to potential progression through the Manchester Futsal Youth League, Manchester Futsal Youth Academy, and even towards national and international representation.

“We’re excited to be working with forward-thinking grassroots clubs that share our passion for developing players. Individual player development is key in our sessions, and with over 20 years of experience helping young players grow, we want to see as many as possible enjoying the game of futsal and benefiting from what it offers.”
Building a Community of Development
We recognise that during the winter months, many teams struggle to find consistent, high-quality training opportunities - that’s where the partnership comes in to play.
Through this partnership, grassroots players can continue to train, play, and enjoy the game indoors with their teammates, developing technical skills and game understanding in a fun, competitive environment.
