From New York to Manchester: Dillon’s Journey Through Our Unique Individual Training Experience

At Manchester Futsal Youth Academy, we’ve always believed in doing things differently - and doing them at the highest level. This summer we have launched a new Individual Development Program - a personalised training experience designed for players from across the world.

Our first international player, Dillon from New York, USA, set the standard for what this experience is all about. Over two weeks, Dillon trained with some of the best young players in Manchester, worked under our coaches, and experienced the intensity and identity of Manchester’s football and futsal culture - all in one carefully structured program.

A Unique Training Environment

It’s a unique, tailor-made program designed for players who want to grow - technically, mentally, and tactically - with coaching from our coaching team with over 20 years experience in developing international futsal and football players.

Dillon’s schedule was built around a holistic training approach, with morning football sessions focused on individual technique, confidence, and tactical awareness, followed by evening futsal training that sharpened his speed of thought, movement, and control under pressure -helping him grow not just as a player, but as a person who believes in his ability

What makes this experience truly unique is that Dillon trained alongside our academy players, many of whom are currently signed to Premier League academies including Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Everton. He wasn’t just watching top talent - he was in the mix, learning, competing, and rising to the challenge.

Premier-Level Coaching at the Heart of the Program

The program was delivered by Raducio King, our Head of Coaching and former Manchester United academy coach with over 10 years of experience. He led Dillon’s journey from start to finish, offering real insight into elite-level training and what it takes to compete at the highest levels.
