Manchester Futsal Club is proud to be leading the way in futsal development - not just across Greater Manchester, but thorough our strategic partners and engagement opportunities around the world.
As the club approaches its 20-year anniversary, the club's and academy’s growing international footprint reflects a clear ambition: to create world-class opportunities for young players, coaches, and communities by connecting through the global language of futsal.

Rooted in strong local values in East Manchester, the Academy has spent the past few years building meaningful partnerships and delivering unique experiences that go far beyond traditional training. These efforts have positioned Manchester Futsal Club as one of the most exciting futsal organisations in the UK and beyond.
A Proven Track Record of International Engagement
In the last two seasons, the Youth Academy has delivered a number of successful international initiatives - each one reinforcing the club’s belief that real development comes from exposure, experience, and exchange.
The club’s Unique Individual Training Experience welcomed its first international player from New York, who took part in a two-week personalised programme that combined elite futsal training with integration alongside players from Premier League academy backgrounds. This offering has now become a key part of the Academy’s pathway for international individuals seeking a tailored, high-performance environment to thrive in.

Manchester Futsal Club players have also taken their talents into the overseas landscape, competing in the TST Tournament in the USA - a globally broadcast 7-a-side event featuring elite-level players and clubs. Participation in tournaments of this scale allows players to gain confidence and test themselves in new environments, representing the club on a world stage.

Meanwhile, the reacent launch of the International Futsal Tour Series, set to begin in Barcelona in February 2026, marks a major step forward in offering structured futsal travel experiences for Academy and satellite players. These tours will blend competition, team bonding, and cultural exploration - reflecting the Academy’s holistic approach to development.
Hosting International Guests
Equally important to Manchester Futsal Club’s vision is being a home for the world. Over the last two years, the Academy has proudly hosted several international teams and clubs - each visit enriching the experience of both the guests and our own players.
The club welcomed the Chinese U15 National Football Team as part of their UK tour, offering them a full futsal experience and exposure to the fast-paced technical demands of the game. Following that, the Hubei Youth Team also visited and played a friendly fixture during their time in Manchester.

Closer to home, the Academy hosted Dutch side Hovocubo for a series of competitive fixtures, offering valuable match experience against top European opposition. The Academy also played a host to SSUSS Ruimsig, a South African youth club, in an exchange that celebrated culture, friendship, and the spirit of futsal.

Hosting the United Futsal World Tour in Manchester
In another major milestone, Manchester Futsal Club was proud to host and organise the UK leg of the United Futsal World Tour - a premier global futsal programme. Over 50 players selected from across United States travelled to Manchester, where the club delivered a complete futsal and cultural experience, including competitive matches, coaching masterclasses, and sightseeing for both players and their families.
This partnership not only showcased the club’s ability to manage high-level international events but also positioned Manchester as a key destination on the global futsal map.

The feedback from players, parents, and visiting coaches reflected the professionalism, hospitality, and quality that Manchester Futsal Club brings to every experience.
Coach Education with Global Reach
Beyond players and teams, Manchester Futsal Club is committed to helping grow the game through international coach education. In collaboration with PASS Abu Dhabi, the club delivered a three-day futsal coaching programme in the UAE, sharing its unique methodology and player development philosophy with over 70 coaches in the region.

A Champions League Mentality
Manchester Futsal Club's involvement in the UEFA Futsal Champions League has played a key role in elevating its international reputation. As one of the few English clubs to compete and host in the competition, Manchester Futsal Club has demonstrated that its approach - across youth and senior levels - meets the highest European standards.
This elite mentality runs through the Academy, providing young players with access to a performance environment that blends competition, discipline, creativity, and opportunity.

A Platform for Players, Families, and Partners
For young players, Manchester Futsal Youth Academy offers far more than weekly training. It offers a platform to grow as athletes and teammates, For parents, it’s a trusted space that values development on and off the court. And for partners, it’s a club with a clear vision and a growing international network.
