Manchester Futsal Academy Announces Squad for Barcelona Futsal Series Tour

Manchester Futsal Youth Academy is excited to announce the squad that will represent the club on our Barcelona Futsal Series Tour this February.

This trip marks another major milestone for the Academy as our young players experience the heart of Catalan futsal and football culture.

The Barcelona Futsal Series Tour will give our players the chance to train, compete, and learn in one of the most iconic futsal environments in Europe. Over the course of several days, they’ll face local Catalan opposition, explore the city, and immerse themselves in a culture that lives and breathes the sport.

Academy Director Ilya Ovechkin said:

“We’re thrilled to be taking our Academy players to Barcelona. This tour is a big step forward for us as a club - it’s about giving our young players real international experience and allowing them to see what futsal looks like at the highest level.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to represent Manchester Futsal Club abroad, learn from the Catalan style of play, and show what our Academy stands for. We’re incredibly proud of the boys selected and can’t wait to see them enjoy Barcelona”
