At the heart of our technical program is individual development. Every player, from the youngest in our pre-academy to those on the verge of first-team opportunities, is given the tools to excel. We believe in nurturing creativity, building confidence, and fostering a love for the game.
As Academy Director Ilya Ovechkin explains: "Our approach is all about individual development. We want players to be comfortable on the ball, we want players to enjoy the game of futsal, and it's important for us that they have a pathway and opportunities within Manchester Futsal Youth Academy and beyond."
This emphasis on individuality is echoed by Raducio King, our Head of Coaching, who adds: "I’m passionate about developing individual players. I want them to be aggressive, expressive, and most importantly, enjoy the game of futsal. When they step into our environment, I want them to feel free to express themselves and be true to who they are. Our coaches are here to encourage that freedom and creativity, allowing every player to grow in confidence both on and off the court."

Academy Fixtures Against North West Football Academies
Matches against academy football teams challenge players to refine their skills, prepare for competitive futsal demands, and strengthen relationships with other academies, contributing to the growth of futsal in Greater Manchester.
International Fixtures
Players gain invaluable experience competing against teams from different countries, such as during the Barcelona Futsal Experience and International Games against Spanish, Dutch, USA and Chinese teams. These games expose players to varying styles of play, helping them develop adaptability while creating unforgettable memories and fostering cultural exchange.
